Commitment
At Heartwood Craft, we treat all employees, clients, contractors, and partners with respect, fairness, and dignity. We comply with all applicable federal, state, and local anti-discrimination laws, including Title VII, ADA, ADEA, and the Colorado Anti-Discrimination Act (CADA).
Scope
This policy applies to all employees, contractors, subcontractors, clients, suppliers, and visitors.
Protected Characteristics
We do not discriminate based on race, color, ethnicity, gender, gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, age, religion, disability, marital or family status, pregnancy, national origin, veteran or military status, or any other legally protected characteristic.
Zero-Tolerance
Discrimination, harassment, or retaliation in any form is strictly prohibited. This includes employment decisions based on protected characteristics, offensive remarks, differential treatment of clients, creating hostile environments, or retaliation against anyone reporting misconduct.
Consequences
Violations result in disciplinary action up to termination. Assault, sexual harassment, or workplace violence leads to immediate termination.
Reporting
Incidents should be reported to a supervisor or company leadership. All reports will be taken seriously, investigated confidentially, and addressed promptly. Retaliation is prohibited.
